About UsMr. Soot’s Chimney Sweeps was established in 1988 and was incorporated 19 years later. It’s owner/president, Dale Baesman, decided to sweep chimneys as a part time job. However, it wasn’t long before this “side business” turned into a full-service company serving the Myrtle Beach area. Dale has been certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) for 20 years, is currently certified by Certified Chimney Professionals, and is a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild.

Dale's son Kevin started helping his dad sweep chimneys in 1998, when he was fourteen years old. Jeremy joined our team of professionals in 2008. In 2010, Dale's youngest son, Cassidy, also began sweeping chimneys.
